Sixth Week

NEW ¥100 SHOP

A new ¥100 store, called Daiso, opened recently, much closer to the university and bigger than the other.
Daiso is in the same street and direction from the other ¥100 store.  Just cross the street from the university.
Right across the street from the pachinko is Daiso

It has two floors of ¥100 goodness.

ALTERNATE SUPERMARKET

There is another supermarket called MaxValu.  It is farther than Aoki, but somethings are cheaper and it does have products that Aoki doesn't, like ketchup and mayonnaise.
It's in the direction of the bus stop by the 7 Eleven, but just a little farther and on the opposite side of the street.
Past the bus stop, on the right-hand side, there is a building that has two clothes stores.
They're called Shimura and Avail.
After that there is an onsen called Hana-shobu, on the left-hand side.
Right after cross the street and MaxValu will be on the left-hand side.

CULTURAL EXCHANGE PARTY

On Saturday there was a cultural exchange party, where the international students got to interact with local residents.  There was food and music, and some art and craft.  But really, it was just fun talking to the residents.  Unfortunately, university policy won't allow me to post photos about official events on the internet.
